The Mysterious Giant of Barletta by Tomie dePaola




How did the Mysterious Giant save the town of Barletta? Tell me the steps he took in order.

    First the giant used the onions to make his eyes water.Next the giant told the army that there were bigger people picking on him.Last the army got scared and ran back home then the people of Barletta returned.

    first he took the onions and put them nere his eyes second he steped of the pedastal third he told the sodiers if he goes to school again the other giants will beat him up.

    First they got a collosol oinin then they spt it in half.Second the giant toke the oinin halfs and put it near his eyes to look like he is crying.Last the army came and asked what happened the giant said bigger kids picked on him and called like tiny and weakling.

    First he got onion.And put it in his eyes and cryed.Next he said he was smaller than all of the other kids they picked on him.finaly allof the soldgers ran away.

    first he took a huge onion and put the nere his eyes . second he steped off his pedastew. third he told the soidgers if he go back to school they will call him all theses kinds of names

    First the giant put the onoions near his eyes to make him cry. Next the army came and said ho is that. Then the giant said all the boys at school think I,m small then he stared to cry then the army though of the huge people in Barletta so they ran.

    First the giant hoped of his pedal stool.second he walked 3 miles from the town.third he sat down and put an onion to his eyes and made a moaning sond.and scard the soilders off.

    Took a onion-half.
    Went three miles away from Barletta and sat down.
    Put the onions on his eyes and started to cry.
    Tell the solders that the boys at school will beat him up if he went back.
    Retured to barletta.

    first got of the pedestal than got a onion. than went 3 miles from the town and sliced the onion half and put by his eyes.stared to make crying noises.than told the soldiers that the kids in school called him names like tine and weakling because he was tine so the soldiers thought the other people were huge so they did not come.

    first the giant took the onion halfs from Via
    Concetta. Then he stepped off his pedal stool.
    And walked 3 miles out of town. Then he sat down and put the onions close to his eyes and started to cry. Then he told the army the other kids pick on him.

    First The GIANT took the ONOIONS FROM ZIA -Conceta. THEN THE GIANT PUT THE ONOIOS TO HIS EYES AND SAT DOWN.FINALY THE GIANT FOOLED THE ARMY.

    first he took the onoin. Nest he put the onoin to his eyes to cry.Nest he lide to the army like the boys at school are calling mywimmy and shorty. last the army wen't home and the ginnt wen't to the town.
